Summary

"The positive impact that Israel and Jerusalem have on people who visit encourages me to take others as often as possible," said Bishop Leonard Bature Kawas, founder of the World Harvest Ministries Inc. (1999). "It is especially important to me to bring Christians to Israel. It changes the way they read the Bible and nourishes their ability to preach the Word of God."

"The most exciting site for Christians is the Tiberias area," said [Ahuva Gray]. "Traveling from north to south you will first encounter the high peaks of the Golan Heights. As you continue through the plush mountainous landscape of the Upper Galilee you will see the Hula Lake and the swamps of the Hula valley at the southern most point. Climb the Mount of Olives, as thousands upon thousands of Christians have done for centuries on Palm Sunday and follow the route taken by Jesus Christ as he entered Jerusalem. A view of Jerusalem, old and new, greets the visitor. Also on the site are the Pater Noster Church and the site of the Ascension. It is believed that there Christ taught mankind the "Our Father" ("Pater Noster") prayer.
