For their part [Englehart] and her crew both at Café Gratitude and via her cook book "I Am Grateful" have gone beyond carrot sticks and garden salads creating an array of satisfying and tasty recipes that could tempt even the most devout meat eaters to at least try them. The recipes are what raw foodists would call "live" versions of traditional foods like pizza, enchiladas, lasagna, "pasta" and other dishes. Each one has an affirmation ("I am SensationaF'-pesto pizza or "I am Elated-enchiladas")... raw "foodism" for them is more of a lifestyle than a diet.
