Summary
[Lloyd Banks] doesn't do enough with his flow to compete with The Game's diss track. Banks didn't deliver enough punch lines. I like his style for the pace of the record but 50 Cent's hook messed up the rhythm of the song. Banks was trying to come off hard and 50 turned the song into a ridin' joint. I never got to grasp the track. I like the beat but it seemed like G-Unit didn't know what type of record to make. 50 can carry a tune but that doesn't mean he should sing on every hook. I know they're trying to clown saying how "Simple" everything is, but the battles ahead aren't going to get any easier. Round 1 goes to The Game.
Lil Wayne showcases why he is one of the top emcees in the rap game. Weezy has everything going for him. He's young, he's a veteran, and he has charisma. Lil Wayne is easily in the running for the top emcee, since Jay-Z retired. You can tell he took notes from J-Hov because Weezy has elevated his flow lyrically and mastered his delivery. He knows his tone and how to bring the emotion of the beat to life. I like the fact that Lil Wayne is getting better with every sixteen he spits. "I Won't Budge" is a perfect song for Wayne because it lets everyone know he's not going anywhere. His laid back flow is killing the industry at the moment. His feature verse on Bobby Valentino's Tell Me has gotten great reviews. Lil Wayne's style is so unique that many emcees are starting to copy his swagger. Spitting lines like, "there's a full court pressure I'm just going for the two/if I'm open for the three/I'm a take it in a second even if there's one second I'm a make it it's nothing/I don't take it for granted/I don't take it for nothing/I take it for what its worth to the dirt". Weezy is the future of the rap game so sit back and watch the bird fly. Bump It!See the full content of this document
