[Jeffrey L. Greer] is currently assigned as Commanding Officer of Metropolitan Division. Captain Greer entered the Los Angeles Police Academy on January 26, 1981. Since joining the Department he has worked a variety of patrol, investigative, and staff assignments. On October 31,2004, Greer was appointed to the rank of Captain and assigned to Foothill Community Police Station. In October of 2006, Captain Greer was assigned to Metropolitan Division, where he will serve until his promotion to commander.
