'Choices' Informational Faire for Parents and Students

Parents and students attending the Faire will have an opportunity to meet administrators, teachers, parents and students representing more than 140 Magnet schools and Centers, including Centers for Enriched Studies, Communications, Visual and Performing Arts, Foreign Language, Gifted/High Ability, Highly Gifted, Humanities, Law/Govemment/Police Studies, Math/Science/Technology, Medical Careers, and One-of-a-Kind school sites. "The Magnet Program provides highly rewarding academic experiences for resident students. This Court-ordered voluntary integration program is theme-based, enabling students to learn a rigorous curriculum while pursuing an academic interest in special environments", said Sharon Curry, Assistant Superintendent, Student Integration Services.
