Summary
The Authority is constructing an 8.6 mile corridor light rail transit (LRT) project that will connect Downtown Los Angeles to Culver City and will travel along the Exposition - right-of-way. It will share track and two stations with the Metro Blue Line and eight new stations will be constructed along the Exposition Line route. The new stations will be located on Flower at 23rd Street and Jefferson, and on Exposition Boulevard at Vermont, Western, Crenshaw, La Brea, La Cienega and Washington/National. The Expo Project is scheduled to open in the summer of 2010 with an estimated travel time from Downtown Los Angeles to Culver of approximately 30 minutes.
