Elmer Walter Douglas Passes

Summary


After earning his teaching credentials at UCLA, [Elmer] began his life's work as a teacher and coach at Narbonne High School, Dorsey High School, and Los Angeles City College coaching baseball, football, and track; leading his teams to City, Southern California, and California State Championships. During this time Elmer earned a Masters Degree from Cal-State College Los Angeles. Elmer was inducted into the Mt. San Antonio Relay's Coaches Hall of Fame, and was also honored by the YMCA of Greater Los Angeles by induction into the "Golden Book" for his service to outh (Crenshaw YMCA).
