"The theme of this year's program was Liberty Under Law: Empowering Youth, Assuring Democracy," Valerie Felix, City Honors High School educator said. "Each student was assigned a specific role to play and the title of their trial was 'The Low-Down on Downloading: Whose Property is Intellectual Property on the Internet,'" she explained.
Twelfth grader Amber Johnson, who was also on the jury, indicated that in her opinion, "The jury plays the most important role in a trial because they must analyze the facts presented by both sides and arrive at a final conclusion."
