Former Detroit-area District Court judge and nationally syndicated reality-based court show (Judge Mathis) Judge Greg Mathis will be the keynote speaker at the 2nd Annual Project Fatherhood Conference on the Impact of Absentee Fathers on Children's Lives Saturday, June 20 at the University of Southern California. Presented by Children's Institute, Inc. (CII) in conjunction with the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services. Boone Center for the Family, and Pepperdine University, the one-day conference will offer nine compelling workshops featuring nationally recognized leaders in the fatherhood field who will speak on the extraordinary work that is being done in Los Angeles County to bring public awareness to the problem and work being done to solve this national crisis.

According to the FBI, a missing father is a more reliable predictor of criminal behavior than race, environment, or poverty.
