And perhaps it was the thinking of a few other Black women when Fleace held a panel discussion with 12 non-Black men entitled "Free your Mind - The Black Girls Guide to Interracial Dating."I'd venture to say that the median age of women was about 40-years-old. Some had never been married and were hopeful; others were divorced and looking. Fleace prefaced the discussion by reminding the audience of the grim statistics from recent census data: there are 1.7 million more Black women in the United States than men. "This is why I want to encourage you to open your minds," Fleace said.
