A Miracle On Western

Summary


In attendance at this grand event were many of our distinguished leaders and dignitaries, true living legends among us. These notables included the Reverend Doctor Meri Ka Ra of the KRST Unity Center of Afirikan Spiritual Science, Queen Nzinga Heru of the Association for the Study of Classical African Civilizations (ASCAC), noted Historian and Attorney LeGrand Clegg, Esq., and Dr, Maulana Karenga of the African American Cultural Center and Founder of Kwanzaa. Other community representatives included King Oji, Brother Akile, Professor John Momoh Surrey. Sister Kamau Ramsey, Brother Chuck Hicks, Sister Molly Bell, a large contingency of elders, a magnificent Steel Drum Band and of course, the omnipresent Mr. Peoples, whom with a proud red, black, and green flag, and his mobile '"Slave Ship" docked in front of the main door, steadily reminding us of our need for "Reparations in Memory of our Ancestors". It was a wonderful sight to behold, the Afro-teentric community of Los Angeles unified and proudly standing in foil force under the shadows of the great Queen Tiye and King Rameses II.
