Summary

"We're all about educating and empowering our community and the general public," says LAAAWPAC president Jackie Hawthorne. "An informed voter is more likely to get to the polls and cast a ballot; that's empowerment." Olivia Verrett, president of the Carson-Torrance Branch NAACP says, "This is an opportunity for the community to get up close and personal with the candidates so they make an informed selection for the June 3rd Primary Election.
