Specifically, the LAUSD's potential expansion plans include acquiring property at 4720 W. Jefferson Blvd.; 3416 S. Vineyard Ave. and three residences 3404, 3406, 3410 S. Vineyard which are residences.

"I don't want to go through Belmont once again," lamented Theresa Rojas. Ironically, Rojas had moved to Exposition Blvd. as one of the numerous displaced residents for the proposed multi-million dollar Belmont Senior High School building project that was eventually scrapped.

"It makes no sense that with all the room on Dorsey's campus that LAUSD would rather displace residents and put students' health in jeopardy than to build on the existing campus," stated Jody Barol a local businessperson and resident of Exposition Blvd.
