"Focused Leaders Resting in Their Hope" is the theme. Conference speakers include Administrative Assistant Eddye Rambo who will introduce the theme. Mother Kathryn Bankhead will address Our Legacy, and Dr. Laurel Brown will speak on The Metamorphosis of Pursuing Excellence. There will be a Thursday evening panel discussion: "My name is Ruth" (ages 49 & under), and "I Am Naomi" (ages 50 & up). Mother Barbara McCoo Lewis will spearhead a late evening session for the 49 & under. Friday evening will be the Plenary Session with Supervisor Joan Walker of the Southwest Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Los Angeles.

Additional workshop topics will be How To Create and Operate on A Budget, Delegator or Dicator, COGIC Women in Leadership Effective and Respected, Support Staff for Church leaders, Creative Fundraising, Ten Ways To Stimulate Spiritual, Numerical and Financial Growth in Your Auxiliary at All Levels, How To Keep The Peace in your group, How to Conquer Your Fear of Public Speaking, How To Overcome Pitfalls That Hinder Excellence in Leadership, Ten Ways to Fine Tune Your People Skills (for the pastor's wife) and Free to Be Me. Other Conference highlights will be Ae Business Session At Breakfast on Friday at 7:30am for the state auxiliary leaders.
