My day begins at 6:30 a.m. I quickly shower and get something to eat and be at my first meeting of the day at 8 a.m. When people hear "meetings" they think," that is not too bad. There is no physical activity. However, we do not just sit there and chat. These are serious meetings where we discuss and learn our strategy and plays. We have to mentally be there, paying attention. The meetings are an essential part of the process. The meetings last until 11:30. At this time we can take our lunch, however no one really eats too much or anything heavy because you might throw up at practice. Then we hit the field at 1p.m. The average temperature in Jacksonville at that time is around 98 degrees and about 80% humidity. We work hard in practice trying to perfect our plays and strategy. Around 3:00 p.m. we leave the field, shower and go watch tape of the practice we just had and tape of opposing teams. This is done in order to correct any mistakes we might have made during practice and to see how other teams play. The day ends around 6 p.m.
