The group is eagerly anticipating a large "turn-out," due to the popularity of the person being honored on that evening. The Alumni Chapter is honoring Bishop Kenneth C. Ulmer, pastor of Faithful Central Bible Church. The Bishop has played a major role in contributing to the overall success of the University's Vesper choir, which he hosted at Faithful Central on two separate occasions, when the choir was making West Coast appearances.

Since this event is a dinner and dance, ample time has been devoted to "cutting the rug" to music provided by fellow alumnus and popular Los Angeles music maker, James "Big Jim" Martin, class of '53.
