ISADORE HALL, Compton City Council Member, Mayor Pro-Tem, Compton-It is outrageous to think that in an area where health care is so essential, that it is even being considered that services at MLK may be discontinued. It is blatant disenfranchisement of Blacks and Latinos in our community.

MOLLIE BELL, Community Member, Compton-We remember that a riot had to occur to bring King Drew Hospital to the community in the first place and it has operated in the black from the very beginning. I hope another riot is not necessary to ensure that MLK continues to serve the community.
